(The inclusion of Samuel Clemens and his fabulous riverboat, however, does give me some hope that this will be a better effort than what Sci-Fi Channel attempted in 2003.)

Whoever wrote this gsrbage (and the previous attempt at Riverworld on SciFi) obviously never read the books. Coming out of The River fully clothed? Horses? NONE of that was in Farmer's books. (And Sam Clemens and his riverboat was in the first movie too. It still sucked, like a Hoover with a turbodrive.)
