You really should be working right now instead of goofing off on Elon University's Facebook page.
You aren't much of anything, are you? Just a coward, hiding behind your cellphone. Or the keyboard of the place where you're supposed to be employing whatever skills your "masters degree" (if you even have one) bestowed upon you.
Good Lord, I really am a better person than you. Including in life experiences and even education. Not all learning is done in a classroom or laboratory or the Akron, Ohio public library. You've never seen the world. You don't know what it's really like out there. But I do. I understand the human condition in ways you'll never comprehend. And that is how I know that you are going to die a lonely man consumed by bitterness and maybe regret, if you even have a conscience.
You are actually a very small person, alone with your hatred of Donald Trump and anyone your paranoia leads you to think is a "conservative". You are so insecure, that the notion of someone who thinks different than you causes you real pain. And so you lash out. Like a rabid and wounded animal.
You truly won't have anything to show to God when He someday calls you to be accountable. Death comes for us all, sooner or later. I've got nothing to be ashamed of. What do you have? God loves us but He can't tolerate unholiness... and that is what you are. An unholy, vulgar, minuscule excuse of a man.
Let me give you some advice: back off. Law enforcement has your name and address. Do something dumb and they'll be on your backside like white on rice.
You aren't the first stupid person to try me. None of the others lasted ten rounds. You will not do any better than they.
I actually feel pretty sorry for you. The bounds of your hatred are as far as your soul will ever get. You won't go farther.
So be a good boy from now on, Chris Schmidt. Mind your manners. And stop with the profanity on Elon's Facebook pages. If you ever really attended Elon, you should be more considerate. Use harsh language with your wife or kids or patrons if that gives you a rise. But a respected university is not the place for that.

There are a lot of crazies out there today. If he's deranged about Trump that makes him worse. Nobody is more insane than the Trump haters. They'd kill everyone who voted for Trump if they could.

Well put. This person sounds like he has a hardened and troubled heart and mind. Maybe your words will rattle him in all the ways it needs it.
Be on your guard. Nobody is as irrational as a Trump hater.
Schmidt made himself out to be a man of esteem with a longtime career of over two decades. Based on the information I found he's been a librarian for the past three years.
So much of what he's said has turned out to be fraudulent that I have to wonder if he's capable of being truthful about anything. He's a delusional human being. Let's pray that he gets the help he needs.
If the Akron library is a public one that makes Christopher Schmidt a government employee. And if he used his time on the clock and library equipment to threaten you or just be on Facebook, that's an abuse of taxpayer funded resources. Akron library and that entire local government could be found liable in court because of Schmidt.

That sounds like Trump derangement syndrome (TDS). There is no known cure. Maybe there needs to be TDS Anonymous, he should admit he's lost control of his life and submit to a higher power.
Any Mouse, it's really a tragic thing. It seems impossible for people like Schmidt to exist beyond their hate. They live to hate. They THRIVE upon it. To them hate is as natural a thing as breathing. They can't stand knowing that there are people who do not share their hatred, it eats them up with jealousy and rage. I'm not a die-hard Trump supporter by any measure and so the wrath that Schmidt conveyed to me is more that slightly bewildering.
For whatever life has thrown at me, I am very thankful that I am nothing like poor Christopher Schmidt. He misses out on the things that matter most in life.
You mention that he should submit to a higher power, like the people in Alcoholics Anonymous are called to do. In the end that's what it's going to take for individuals like Schmidt and the others who are captive to irrational rage. No one else can help them. But who knows? Saul on the road to Damascus was obsessed with persecuting the Christians there, until God intervened. Maybe God will do the same to Schmidt's own heart.

An anti-Trump fanatic made threats. That was a mistake, on multiple levels.
He has since fled the scene. But not before leaving a paper trail now sitting on my iPad.
I'd thought of deleting this post. He knows about it now. But I might leave it up indefinitely. He's been indisputably identified, by location and his employer. It will show up on a search (it already has on Bing). It will follow him from now on.
He thought he could make a big deal about me having bipolar disorder. That is REALLY a ridiculous thing to attempt. I've only been writing about being a manic depressive for FIFTEEN YEARS now. I've spoken to classrooms and churches and other people about it. I've discussed it on television. I've even written a book detailing it. It's not like he's made some grand discovery and thinks he can blackmail me with it.
Chris Schmidt of the Akron Library is like too many "liberals" in this country. For generations they've claimed to be about peace, love and tolerance. The past several years have proven that this is not the case at all. They live for strife, abound in hatred, and do NOT tolerate anything different from their own narrow semblance of ideology.
And in Schmidt's case, this all converges into a deep-seated lust for violence.
If he does anything stupid, there is a trail of documentation leading straight to him.

Chris, you should let this go. If nothing else then clean up this comments section. There are some very troubling things people have left here (like the comment about a sock). I think this Schmidt person is just very jealous of you. It seems he's never had the achievements in life that you have. You are the only person I know of who has made movies and run for office, with the exception of Ronald Reagan (ha-ha!). If he's a lowly librarian who few people will ever know about then you've already won. He won't have all the people like you have in your life, people who love you and care for you. I can only imagine that Schmidt has a very lonely life. You've won. Be content with that. Leave this post up if you think it will deter him from doing something foolish but edit these comments. You know the Christian part of you knows that many if not most of them are wrong.
