The other week I got a haircut. I tend to like how these things look after they've grown out a bit. And I've lost some weight lately. Been trying to take better care of myself than I had been, so among other things I'm eating a lot more fresh veggies. I definitely think that working on the book took a stressful toll. There were a lot of things in that which were a real struggle to write. But I did it and I think I picked up the visage of a real author in the process.
Anyhow, this is how I'm looking lately:
Well, we'll see how long it lasts. Maybe when I hit 70 I'll be getting mistaken for a person in his forties :-)

Chris you look terrific! I would have sworn on the Good Book that you are in your mid thirties at most. What is your secret?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my wife says I look 15 years younger too :)
Thanks Grundy! My secret? There really isn't one. But I've never smoked or been much of a drinker. I enjoy a few glasses of Dad's favorite wine every year on his birthday, my personal way of toasting his memory. I definitely don't vape! The harshest drugs I take are those to manage my bipolar disorder.
ReplyDeleteJust good clean living, is the best I can offer :-)
A LOT of people have noticed how those of us from Generation X look like they're barely aging. It is a very real phenomenon. I guess we truly are the generation that's in our 40s to 60s, grew up being expected to be adults, and today acting like we're in our 20s!
