One of the most disturbing movies ever made turns forty years old today
Happy Birthday to David Cronenberg's 1986 adaptation of The Fly, starring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis.
This came on TCM one night. I saw it had Jeff Goldblum in it so of course it was probably good. I almost gave up when the scene of the birth dream happened. But I had gone that far, so I stuck it out. I'm glad that I watched it, it's a very good movie. But I doubt I'll ever want to watch it again.
