What did Obama's pastor say exactly?

Seriously, I don't really know what's going on. I've had better things to occupy myself with during the past few days.

But I'm seeing "Obama" and "pastor" come up quite a lot in news headlines lately. So what's the big deal?

And why should I care?

Why should any of us care, for that matter?

The only thing I do know about it is that I don't care.

Hi, Chris

Wasssupp?

Yup, No big deal.I don't care too. I watched your Forcery movie. I like it. Its good, especially the last part really absorbed my attention! I reckon its because of the light saber effects. Awesome! The first part of the movie is not as good. It seems rather awkward as the background music is inappropriate for George Lucas's car accident scene. I shall post a comment on my blog & link to your Forcery site, ok?

Hey Abas,
Glad you liked it :-)

Okay, re: the music. It's one of the more subtle jokes about Forcery. At the beginning of Misery when Paul is driving back from his cabin, he's listening to "Shotgun" by Junior Walker and the All-Stars, and in Forcery we see Lucas doing that too. But then he switches stations and starts listening to "A Horse With No Name" by the band America.

The first time I remember hearing that song, it was in a 1998 episode of the TV show Millennium (the episode in question was "Owls" by the way, one of the best of that show's entire run). It involved a guy getting brutally murdered by a Nazi goon. The way the scene works along with that music playing... it's NOT supposed to be funny but at the same time I thought it was HILARIOUS!

The first time I saw that episode, I knew that I wanted to use "A Horse With No Name" in something like this. It took 7 years but with Forcery that chance finally came :-)

And whereas Annie was a Liberace nut in Misery, in Forcery we made Frannie into a Slim Whitman fanatic.

Things like that, you have to wonder what twists in the inner fog of Chris Knights' mind sometimes :-P
