HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN

Many times, I have been asked "What kind of town is Reidsville like?"

Something like this...

The first time I saw Hobo With A Shotgun was Butt-Numb-A-Thon 9 last year. This short has won a bunch of awards and is now on track to becoming an actual full-length movie! And it cracks me up every time I watch it :-) Shoot here for the official website.

Reidsville unleashed Fritz Klenner on the world didn't it?

Lord only knows what really made Fritz Klenner into the psycho that he became.

Speaking of which: several months ago I did a "what do they look like now" tour of most of the local sites from that tragedy. Like where Dr. Klenner had his office in downtown Reidsville, Susie Lynch's apartment, the shopping center where Fritz met with Ian Perkins, a few other locations. I had meant to make a post about it but you know... that's such a CRAZY story, even now almost a quarter-century later. I wrestled a lot with how to do that and in the end, had to give up for the time being.

I might go back to it come this spring, when it'll be the 25th anniversary of Fritz's first murders.

Not about the Hobo Shotgun thing, but I like the changes to your page - especially the Johnny Robertson stuff on the left. ;)
