It's an odd commentary on our culture...

...when all the literature on the front shelves of the bookstores is about either vampires, zombies, or Sarah Palin.

It's just been on my mind all day ever since going into the nearby Books A Million, that EVERY book I saw on the shelves and tables when I walked through the door was Palin or Twilight saga or one of numerous tomes about zombies. Very, very strange...

That's all right - one of the guys I work with writes Zombie novels and novellas too....I've read a number of them and they are good...

I would rather read a book about vampires (OTHER than the Twilight saga) or zombies any day of the week rather than read Palin's book...not interested in that one...
