We can finally talk about COVID "vaccines"... so let me tell you about Kenneth Rogers

Before I share the ultimate point of this post, I want you to take a good hard look at this photograph.

This is Kenneth Rogers, MD.

From 2020 until late 2022 Kenneth Rogers was the director of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.  He was my ultimate "boss" during much of the time when I was a peer support specialist with this area's mental health office.  Rogers was ostensibly charged with guiding the agency with wisdom and integrity.

That is the furthest thing from what Kenneth Rogers really was.  In truth he turned out to be a far-left activist who had no compunctions about enforcing his own agenda upon the thousands of hard-working and dedicated mental health workers working for the state.

Rogers saw South Carolina Department of Mental Health as his personal play toy.  He turned his position into a bully pulpit for his ideological beliefs.  He certainly had a captive audience.  Whenever I opened up a web browser on my office PC there was Kenneth Rogers's face - as you see in the photo above - with some decree he had made from on high.  And sometimes they had absolutely nothing to do with mental health.

Case in point: what Rogers posted following the George Floyd incident.  Rogers jumped on the bandwagon immediately, without any proper evidence, and blamed institutional racism for Floyd's death, never mind that the Floyd was a dead man walking with all the fentanyl in his system.  Floyd was going to die regardless of anything else that happened.

Rogers finished up with accusing practically all white people of harboring racism.

It was a dip into the political realm that was utterly disturbing.  No responsible leader of a state agency, no responsible person at all, would have stooped so low in using departmental resources toward furthering personal ideology.  I was disgusted by it and for several fleeting moments I considered writing to Rogers about it.  But I had my job to consider: I was just a peer support specialist, someone without a masters degree.  So I kept quiet.

(Obviously, six years later I am letting it all come out without fear.)

I decided then that Kenneth Rogers was a poor choice to be the head honcho of an agency whose purpose was to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable of the people of South Carolina.

I watched Rogers do his thing, on and off.  I could not but shake my head in disbelief whenever he made his decrees.  And I continued to wonder what could I do that would arouse the attention of the people who had appointed Rogers to the job in the first place.

And then came COVID.  And Kenneth Rogers really let his inner leftist demagogue loose.

Rogers commanded that everyone in the department get the COVID vaccine.  Never mind that it was so very new and untested.  We each had to get it, or else lose our job.

Which would have been personally devastation to a lot of people and it certainly would have been to me.  Not only for the loss of income, but it would mean that I could no longer see my clients: people who I had come to care for tremendously.  Being in peer support meant relating to the people I served in ways that the more "qualified" counselors and doctors and nurses could not.  Not without themselves having a mental health condition.  Being a peer support person meant letting my bipolar disorder become something useful toward helping vulnerable people live richer and more fulfilling lives.  I came to love those "clients" (I could not call them "patients" because I didn't have a masters degree), every one of them.  Three and a half years after leaving the department and I still think of them.  I still pray for them.

Not getting the alleged "vaccine" would mean that I could no longer work with them or see them at all.

There was an out for people who were conscientious objectors.  I wrote a short essay explaining why I wanted to decline getting the shot.  All I know is that it was turned down.  Maybe it didn't help my case that I wasn't a member of any organized religious body, not even a small country church.  There was nobody to help me plead my case.

So it really was get the shot or lose my employment, and with that would come no longer getting to help my patients (well, that's who they were).

Kenneth Rogers continued in his demands that everyone get the shot.  As he put it in one screed, we were all "going to follow the law".

There was no "law" requiring involuntary inoculation.  The "law" Rogers cited was an order by President Joe Biden and Rogers automatically declared that this was to be as adhered to as any properly and rigorously argued and passed piece of legislation.

Long story short: Kenneth Rogers used his position to enforce a political position of liberals like those in the Democratic Party and especially of the Biden administration.

Well, I was stupid.  And I got the shot.  I got both of the initial course of inoculation.  After getting the second jab a blood vessel burst in my right eye.  And ever since then I've wondered if my breathing is as well as it used to be.

Kenneth Rogers posted a photo of himself getting the "COVID vaccine".  He was masked up and everything.  For all we know that wasn't the real vaccine at all.  It could have been saline water or something else innocuous.

I got the shot and I've felt dirty ever since.  It did something to me.  I feel now like it cost me my integrity, of too much of my soul even.  I should have done the hard thing and quit my job outright.  Except there were my patients and who would have been there for them like I had the unique position of being?

It's five years after getting the "vaccine".  If I knew then what I know now, I would have told Kenneth Rogers that he could take his precious shot and jab them [REDACTED].  He's an absolutely loathsome, disgusting and criminally negligent individual who does not deserve to be in any position of medical care and administration.

There are a lot of people who deserve scorn and ridicule stemming from the COVID vaccine propaganda.  Half of Democrats polled at the time wanted those who refused the "jab" to lose their employment, be fined, and even be incarcerated.  People were silenced on social media by giants like Facebook and Twitter, for the "crime" of questioning the efficacy of the "vaccines".  There were the businesses ruined and the churches vacated.

Nobody who was advocating the pro-vaccine agenda deserves to have any place at the American table.  They violated the people's trust.  They forced a medical experiment upon us and told us "tough" if we resisted.

I'm a peaceful man.  I try to follow my Lord's instruction to "love one another".  COVID however brought about a seething and quite righteous hatred toward certain people.  I only wish the worst upon them.

David Strom has written an ASTOUNDING article for Hot Air about how it has come to be that we can at last openly discuss the persecution that we suffered because of vaccine propaganda.  If you have been angry before, Strom's piece will reignite your fury.  If you have had blinders on until now, this well-researched essay laden with citations will hopefully open your eyes.

COVID became tyranny by leftists.  Maybe we will be much more the wiser the next time that they think they have an opportunity to control our lives.

The CDC: Too much power given to an agency

One February morning in 1997, I was at a gas station in Burlington, North Carolina.  At the counter someone was complaining about new cigarette laws requiring that people under a certain age must show their photo ID.  He said it was a stupid law.

"Wait, let me explain something," said the bearded man behind the counter.  "What you are protesting against is not a law.  You are instead protesting a regulation.  A law is something that has gone through the legislative process and is voted into being by people that you vote for and who are accountable to you.  You don't get to vote for people who make regulations.  They can do whatever they want to do.  They don't answer to you at all."

It remains one of the most eye-opening exchanges I've ever witnessed.  It changed my perception of things.  Ever since that morning, I have cast a wary eye on things like mask-wearing: is it a law, or is it regulation?

For the past two years the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has mandated wearing of masks in public places.  And worse, there have been the mandated "get vaccinated or else" proclamations.  Most of those have come from decree by Joe Biden (I refuse to honor him with the title "President").

NONE of this has been "law".  Congress did not order masks or "vaccinations".  That's what unelected government bureaucrats ordained.  And no matter what a sitting president demands, he or she does not have the authority to insist that civilians get jabbed (the military is another matter, and the Supreme Court just decided 6 to 3 against members of the armed forces who want to refuse the shot: Thomas, Gorsuch and Alito were the dissenting justices).

Masks and "vaccines" against COVID-19 have become the most egregious and blatant power grab in American history.  Thankfully, earlier this week a federal judge struck down mask mandates on public transportation.  You may have seen the photos of airline passengers tearing their masks off and rejoicing.

The Biden "administration" hates that.  And they are already trying to appeal it or work around the judge's decision.

Remember people: it's NOT a law that we've had to be putting up with for the past two years.  It's a REGULATION.  One whipped up out of thin air by our alleged "betters".  A thing dreamt of by people we don't vote for and who will probably never be held accountable.  For the damage and injury done, both physical and mental.

I received the COVID vaccine very early on.  As a health care worker, and someone who is in constant contact with the general public, getting "vaccinated" made sense.  I'll never know if it worked to ward away COVID.  I do know that I contracted COVID late this past December (the symptoms were mild).  But in hindsight if I had a chance to have a do-over, I would not have received the shot.  As much as being an "up yours" to people like Fauci and Biden as it would be to regard my own health and well being.

Remember: if the mask mandate comes back, you don't have to comply.  Because that's not a real law at all.  And it never was.

Canadian convoy: history in the making

It is now day #16 of the Freedom Convoy's presence in the Canadian capital of Ottawa.  What began as a group of truckers all the way west in Vancouver has become a movement inspiring many, MANY more around the world.  The truckers and their supporters want little: just the lifting of mandatory vaccinations.  But Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau - who has called the truckers "fringe extremists" - refuses to budge.  This despite his falling hard in the polls.  If this were England there would be calls already for his resignation.

Needless to say, this is extremely FASCINATING to me and I've been watching the Freedom Convoy's story unfold and evolve since it began.  The truckers and their supporters aren't going anywhere in Ottawa, and more are still coming.  Trudeau is in a tight spot: he either gives up and ends the mandate, or he chooses to end the occupation by any means necessary.

Personally, I think the man is in much the same position that Nicolae Ceaucescu was in during December of 1989.  That didn't end well for Nicolae and his wife: thrown up against the wall and shot as enemies of the people.  Averse to violence that I am, I hope that won't be Trudeau.  No matter how sleazy and out of touch with the common Canadian that he is.

Well like I said, I've been following this with extreme interest.  And if you want to also watch as history unfolds with our friends in the Great White North (and soon to be coming to Washington D.C. and no doubt state capitals across the fruited plain) there are several online live streams coming in from Ottawa, Windsor, Coutts and wherever else the convoy is making waves.  One of my favorites is Ottawalks: they've been doing hours-long live feeds from throughout the streets of Ottawa all the way to Parliament Hill.  Here's their most recent stream, and does it seem like a party has broken out or what?  Definitely NOT a gathering of "extremists" who have "unacceptable" beliefs as Trudeau charged.

I really hope this same momentum will be moving our own truckers and their backers when the American convoy kicks into high gear.

So, I got hit by COVID-19...

It was only a matter of time, I suppose.  And based on what those who were in close proximity to me have said, it seems like it's the omicron (anagram for "moronic") variant.  Which is the most wildly contagious as well as apparently being the least malign of the strains found so far.  Two friends and I were at a movie theater on Christmas Day, watching Spider-Man: No Way Home and one of them believes she picked it up during a trip to the restroom.  She tested positive two days later and our other friend got a positive result the next day.  My symptoms began a few hours later.  It hasn't been as severe as theirs, but still... this has been a pretty cruddy way to end 2021 on.  Or a fitting one.  Or something.

It's almost miraculous that it took this long to contract it, given my work as a health care professional involves interacting with the public on a constant basis.  Two years' keeping ahead of the Wuhan Flu is a pretty good record, all things considered.

I'm day four now into fighting this thing but happily I'm on the tail end of it.  Body temperature had been oscillating like an accordion but that seems to have ended last night.  There hasn't been as much mucous produced as I had originally thought.  My chest feels like there's a weight on it, even now.  I never lost the sense of smell, however there is a weird taste in my mouth.  But that's been happening lately anyway, because of iron infusions I've been receiving to offset anemia.

I still do not believe in COVID vaccine mandates: something I've expressed on numerous other forums.  The choice to be vaccinated should be a very personal one, for a lot of reasons.  I was vaccinated this past winter, but I have chosen to not receive boosters.  Indeed, I wonder about the efficacy of the vaccines, given the reports that have accumulated of people being severely injured and even dying after getting jabbed.  We should have been addressing this with medications like Ivermectin, which is what countries like India have been doing to counter COVID.  But I suppose "big pharma" couldn't make enough money on something they tout as a horse dewormer (and the drug companies have better paying lobbyists too).

In hindsight, I'm taking a perverse view on getting COVID-19.  Coming through like this, my body has been working overtime to cook up some all natural antibodies.  My chances of catching COVID again are significantly diminished.  I'm going to be able to head out the office door to meet my patients with much more confidence, and that's a good thing.

Until the next plague that our friends the ChiComs whip up in their laboratories...

Remember my prediction from this past January?

Here it is if you've forgotten: my most serious prediction ever...

Make a note of this.  January the Sixth, Two Thousand and Twenty-One.  Just before 1 p.m. EST.

If I'm wrong about this I'll eat my fedora.  No really, I will.

Here it is:

I do declare that four years from today, the United States will be in the WORST condition it has been in, in at least the past fifty years.

Hold me to this.  Do it.

I am dead-#@%$ serious.

That was ten months ago.  Much less than the forty-eight I allocated to Biden.

Out of control inflation.  Soaring gas prices.  Less food.  Energy costs set to skyrocket.  A military more dedicated to being "woke" than defense readiness.  Americans still stranded in Afghanistan.  Supply chains strangled because of over-burdening regulation on truckers.  Vaccine mandates.  No effective counter to a China becoming more belligerent by the month if not quicker.  The list goes on...

But hey: no more mean tweets!!

"Let's go Brandon."
