StarWars.com revealed the image earlier today. Deathtroopers by Joe Schreiber is the first ever true horror story set in the galaxy far, far away (no, I'm not counting the "Galaxy of Fear" books either). The novel is scheduled for release later this year, fittingly enough just before Halloween.

Awright, who else is seeing this, and thought that we must be getting a Star Wars/Hellraiser crossover...?

Oo, now that does look creepy. If I was a big Star Wars junkie (which I'm not), I would definitely give that a read.
But the title does seem pretty corny. I mean, "Death Troopers"? Come on, that just smells of cheese!
Great cover, though.
This is Star Wars. It's SUPPOSED to be corny! :-P
Meh, Star Wars never was that great sci-fi anyways. Most of the stuff from KOTOR II parachuted from better sci-fi.
I'm really looking forward to this one. My interests in literature have gone more to the side of sci-fi/fantasy side of horror lately, but I guess I've just been reading lots of Matheson and stuff. heh. Anyways, here's hoping this novel is received well by the fans.
